Simple Stew (No Need for Store-Bought Roux)

I made this because it's getting cold recently and I wanted to eat stew.
When you add the flour, be sure to turn off the heat. Recipe by Halchan

Steps
- 1
Stir fry the onions with butter.
- 2
Once browned, add in the meat, potatoes, and carrots and stir fry. This time, I didn't use carrots.
- 3
When everything is cooked, turn off the heat and mix in the flour.
- 4
Once it's mixed, then add the water and milk.
- 5
Once all mixed, turn the heat back on and add the soup stock.
- 6
When it thickens and the vegetables are cooked, add in the broccoli and season with salt and pepper and it's done!
