Cheese and Soy Milk Hot Pot

I wanted a thick soy milk hot pot with the richness of cheese...
If you coat the cheese with katakuriko (or corn starch) before adding it to the pot, it melts into a nice, thick sauce. The vegetables I used were potatoes, carrots, turnips, shimeji mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, cabbage, and spinach. Cooking Instructions

Cut the ingredients into easy-to-eat, bite-sizes. Rinse the cod in boiling water. Devein the shrimp. Put the seasonings marked ○ into a bowl and mix together.

Put 2.5 cups of water (not listed) into a clay pot, add potatoes and other vegetables that take more time to cook, and heat. Add the bouillon cubes.

Add soy milk and remaining ingredients in order. Add ○ mixed seasonings. Cook everything just until tender. Put the cheese and katakuriko into a bag and shake lightly coat the cheese. Add the katakuriko coated cheese to the pot.

If you'd like to include chicken in the pot, first season with a little salt and sake (not listed), and then continue from Step 2 of the recipe.
