I love recipes that use ground meat so I'm always thinking of different recipes.

-It's much easier if you add a little oil to the spoon when dropping the meatballs into the oil.

Ingredients

15 servings
  1. 200 gramsGround chicken meat
  2. 200 gramsFirm tofu (undrained)
  3. 1/4 tspSalt
  4. 1 dashPepper
  5. 1 tspSoup stock granules
  6. 1 tbspKatakuriko
  7. 1 tbspGrated cheese (optional)
  8. 1◆ Frying oil

Cooking Instructions

    Add all the ingredients except the frying oil together into a bowl and use your hands to mix well.

    Heat oil in a pan to 170°C and drop each meatball into the oil with a spoon. Fry until they are a light brown color (about 5 minutes).

    Alternative version: If you add re-hydrated and drained hijiki you can make a ganmo-style version. This is also soft and delicious.
