Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 1/2 headcabbage, finely chopped
  2. 1 tablespooncilantro and green chili paste
  3. 1 tablespoonginger-garlic paste
  4. 3 tablespoonsall-purpose flour
  5. 1 tablespoongaram masala
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Oil as needed for frying
  8. 2onions, finely chopped
  9. 8garlic cloves, finely chopped
  10. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  11. 1 tablespoonvinegar
  12. 1 tablespoonchili sauce
  13. 1 tablespoontomato ketchup

    In a bowl, combine the cabbage, all-purpose flour, ginger-garlic paste, cilantro and green chili paste, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

    Form the mixture into small balls.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls until golden brown.

  4. 4

    In a separate pan, heat oil and sauté the chopped onions until soft.

  5. 5

    Add the chopped garlic and cook on medium heat, then add all the sauces and cook together.

  6. 6

    Lower the heat. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry, then slowly add it to the pan while stirring.

  7. 7

    Once the sauce thickens slightly, add the fried balls and mix well. Turn off the heat.

  8. 8

    Serve hot. If you like extra tomato ketchup, drizzle some on top before eating.
