Cooking Instructions
- 1
Make the cream twists. In a heatproof bowl, add the egg and the granulated sugar and mix together with a whisk.
- 2
Sift in the cake flour and mix well. Then add the milk bit by bit and mix. Gently cover it with plastic wrap and microwave it for 1 minute. Mix again and then microwave once more for 40 seconds.
- 3
Mix until it's smooth, add in the butter, and then mix once more. Transfer it to a flat dish and cover with plastic wrap so that it won't dry out.
- 4
Set your bread machine to the bread making course to make the dough.
- 5
For the apples, peel the apple and cut it into eighths. Slice them into 3mm wide slices and dip them into salty water (to keep them from turning color) and then let them dry on parchment paper.
- 6
Once the first rising is done, take out the dough and punch it. Form it into a ball and then cover it with a tightly wrung out damp towel and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
- 7
Roll out the dough into a flat, wide 25cm x 30cm shape with a rolling pin.
- 8
Spread the custard cream onto the dough, leaving about 3 cm on one side uncovered. At this point, you could also dust with granulated sugar, the same as in the cream twists recipe.
- 9
Roll the dough up from the bottom and tightly close the seam.
- 10
Cut the dough into eight pieces and put them in cups with the sides facing up. Gently push down on the centers so that it creates a depression.
- 11
In that depression, put 4-5 of the sliced apples on top, trying to fill in as many gaps as possible. Then sift granulated sugar on top.
- 12
Let the dough rise a second time until it has doubled in size. Next, bake them in a preheated oven at 190℃ for 13-15 minutes.
- 13
Once they have dried, feel free to sift some powdered sugar on top.
- 14
You can put them in individual bags for presents.
- 15
This is the bag that I used. I bought these at a home center. If it comes with a seal, that's even better.

I wanted to make a swiss roll with a double punch of chocolate. For Step 2, start mixing the chocolate into the cream as soon as it's poured in so that it doesn't harden. For Step 6, by pouring in just 1/3 of the meringue to begin with, the mixture will gradually become nice and smooth. For Step 10, make sure the better looking side of the sponge is on the bottom. Fluffy Honey and Heavy Cream Rolls Fluffy Honey and Heavy Cream Rolls
I decided to make a fluffy and soft bread using honey and heavy cream, and with trial and error, I finally succeeded. It's bread that makes me feel happy because it's so fluffy. You can wrap these individually in plastic and freeze them as well.If you're using hardened honey, either warm it until it softens, or add 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of milk. Warming the milk to body temperature before adding it will allow the dough to rise better. For 7-8 breads. Recipe by Naitosan cookpad.japan -
Caramel Swiss Rolls Caramel Swiss Rolls
My friend was delighted when I gave her a home-made roll cake as a present, so I altered the recipe slightly and uploaded it.Prepare the cream while the cake is baking. For this cake, you want the browned side of the sponge to show, so I flipped it over after baking. Fresh Strawberry Cream Roll Cake Fresh Strawberry Cream Roll Cake
I made this as a birthday present for my friend (and also because I wanted to eat it)! Roll cakes are easy to transport so they are ideal gifts. Roll cakes are really wonderful when you combine heavy cream with strawberries in the filling!I recommend using heavy cream with 35% milk fat. If you want this to turn out even more beautiful then it is good to peel one more layer off upon baking. I was making it as a gift this time and wanted to make it beautiful, so I decorated the top with sliced strawberries. Recipe by Yukiline cookpad.japan -

Milky Cream Swiss Rolls Milky Cream Swiss Rolls
I once tasted cream made with condensed milk, which was deliciously milky. That's why I decided to make these swiss rolls with condensed milk cream.Be careful not to cook the eggs when you are warming. The eggs must be beaten well and the batter must be folded until it becomes glossy. If the batter is not folded enough the cake will be rough and dry, but mixing too much will cause it to become firm like a pound cake. Chewy Black Bean & Coffee Cream Rolls Chewy Black Bean & Coffee Cream Rolls
I was chosen to review Fujikko's Tanba Kuromame black beans. The beans are really plump, delicious, and big beans.I made this dessert as something that could be enjoyed by old and young people alike. The skins are very simple to make, and the cream can be made with a hand mixer and a microwave so everything is very easy.To make the most of the natural sweetness of the black beans this cream isn't too sweet and it's made a little bitter on purpose. If you roll all of the ingredients up in a chewy skin you get just the right level of sweetness I think. Please adjust the cooking time according to your microwave. Recipe by miyuki12 cookpad.japan -

Cream Rolls with Choux Pastry Made In a Bread Maker Cream Rolls with Choux Pastry Made In a Bread Maker
It's really easy to make Kikomoe's custard cream recipe and Poku-chan's choux pastry recipe so I came up the idea of combining them with a bread recipe.Make sure to properly chill the custard cream. I recommend doubling the original recipe so that you don't run out. If you fill the cream rolls with more than 1 tablespoon of filling they may explode, so don't go too crazy! You can't make the choux pastry ahead, so make sure to start preparing your ingredients during the second bread dough proofing. If you follow these instructions closely, you shouldn't have any problems. Recipe by Gomeko cookpad.japan -
Fluffy and Moist Swiss Rolls Fluffy and Moist Swiss Rolls
I really struggled to put together the ratio or the combination of the cake flour to make this without adding any liquid ingredients. I've finally managed to finalize the recipe after so much trial and error. You might think that the batter will sink if you add the cake flour and use a hand mixer in step 4. Yet, this removes any excess bubbles and makes the sponge really fluffy and airy. Using a spatula takes too much time.If you're not going to flip the sponge over, there is no need to remove the browned surface in step 7. Recipe by ko-ko cookpad.japan
