I always requested this prawn fritter from mum everytime I visit her in Indonesia. With the lockdown I can't visit her, so mum gave me the recipe so I can try making it myself.

I always requested this prawn fritter from mum everytime I visit her in Indonesia. With the lockdown I can't visit her, so mum gave me the recipe so I can try making it myself.

Mix all the ingredients, do not add water. The mix should be chunky and slightly thick.

Heat up the oil. Gently placed the mix in the oil using spoon.

Lay paper towel on plate to absorb the oil. Ready to serve.

For the dipping sauce, finely chop chilli, garlic and basil. Add vinegar, salt and sugar.
