Besan ki burfi
Steps

Take a heavy bottom kadai add ghee and roast besan and rava on low flame.

Keep stirring continuously till the besan combines well without any lumps.

Keep the flame low all the time and roast till the mixture turns paste and slowly turn aromatic.

This will take 20-25 minutes and besan will turn golden brown..

Now make sugar syrup by dissolving sugar in water

Boil till dissolve sugar completely and keep boiling it till 1 string consistency of sugar syrup.

Now pour the prepared sugar syrup over besan mixture. (keeping the flame off)

Mix the sugar syrup uniformly and besan will thicken.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Now pour and spread the prepared dough into greased plate lined with baking paper And it will set well forming a block.

Spread the slivered pistachios on the top and press gently with a spatula.

Let it set for 15-20 min and then cut into desired pieces.

Enjoy besan burfi. It has long shelf life.
