Ingredients

  • Ingredients for making the Dough
  • 1 cupwarm milk
  • 2 tspyeast
  • 1large egg at room temperature
  • 2 tbspunsalted butter melted
  • 4 tbspgranulated sugar
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 3 cupsall-purpose flour
  • For the cinnamon fillings
  • 8 tbspunsalted butter
  • 1/4 cupgranulated sugar
  • 2 tbspground cinnamon

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large mixing bowl mix the flour,yeast,milk,egg,sugar and melted butter.

    Make a soft and sticky dough and cover it with a kitchen wrap and allow it to rise for 1 hour at room temperature or until double in size

  3. 3

    After rising take the Dough and roll it into 17 by 10 cm rectangle

  4. 4

    Then spread 8 tbsp of butter

  5. 5

    Mix quarter cup of sugar with 2 tbsp of ground cinnamon to make the cinnamon sugar

  6. 6

    Then sprinkle it on the butter

  7. 7

    And roll the dough and cut it into equal portion

  8. 8

    Arrange them on a baking pan and allow it to rise for 30 minutes and then bake
