Yakitori-Style Chicken Tenders

I made this in a hurry as a bento item, but it was delicious so I turned it into a recipe. Just a little bit of miso gives a nice fragrance.
I used 6 chicken tenders, but I think you can use anywhere from 4 to 8. Recipe by Raby

Spread a generous amount of vegetable oil out in a frying pan and place the flour-coated chicken tenders. Cook on high heat until golden brown.

Once one side has cooked, flip and cook on medium heat with a lid. Once it's golden brown, stop the heat.
- 5
Wipe excess oil in the frying pan with a paper towel, and add the sauce you made in Step 2, the garlic and turn on the heat again.
- 6
Turn up to high heat and once the sauce comes to a boil, it's done (be careful not to burn it). Cut into bite-sized pieces and serve.

The chicken tender yakitori I had at a yakitori restaurant was really delicious! In order to make the chicken tenders bought at the supermarket tender and delicious, I flavor it with Chinese soup stock (chicken soup stock) and soak it in sake!Don't overcook the tenders! The key is to cook them soft.I like sesame oil, but if you want a lighter taste you can leave it out and it's still plenty delicious. If you don't have chicken soup stock, etc, salt is OK.If you don't have time you can reduce the marinating time to 10 minutes. It’s all about what you dip them in am I right? Out of 4 half breasts, I made an entire platter. Very inexpensive and very delish. It only took 30 minutes from start to finish. I’m not saying it isn’t a messy process, but the end results are worth it. They cook up quick and beautiful and they freeze well. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
