I made this in a hurry as a bento item, but it was delicious so I turned it into a recipe. Just a little bit of miso gives a nice fragrance.

I used 6 chicken tenders, but I think you can use anywhere from 4 to 8. Recipe by Raby

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 6Chicken tenders
  2. 1 dashSalt
  3. 3 tbspKatakuriko
  4. 1Vegetable oil
  5. 1 1/2 tbsp●Soy sauce
  6. 1 tbsp●Sugar
  7. 1 tbsp●Mirin
  8. 1 tsp●Blended miso
  9. 1/2 tbsp●Oyster sauce
  10. 3thin slices Garlic

Cooking Instructions

    Spread a generous amount of vegetable oil out in a frying pan and place the katakuriko-coated chicken tenders. Cook on high heat until golden brown.

    Combine the ● ingredients, mix, and set aside.

    Spread a generous amount of vegetable oil out in a frying pan and place the flour-coated chicken tenders. Cook on high heat until golden brown.

    Once one side has cooked, flip and cook on medium heat with a lid. Once it's golden brown, stop the heat.

    Wipe excess oil in the frying pan with a paper towel, and add the sauce you made in Step 2, the garlic and turn on the heat again.

    Turn up to high heat and once the sauce comes to a boil, it's done (be careful not to burn it). Cut into bite-sized pieces and serve.
