In summer we sometimes make cold miso soup and put cooked hot rice in it. It’s Japanese fast food.

In summer we sometimes make cold miso soup and put cooked hot rice in it. It’s Japanese fast food.
Steps

Soak dried kelp and bonito flakes in 2 cups water for a few hours. Start boiling but just before boiling please turn off the flame. And drain with colander. Please don’t squeeze, the soup stock gets bitter. And cool it in refrigerator.

Take some soup stock in bowl and mix miso well and pour rest of the soup. And check the taste.

Cut all vegetables and herbs into small pieces. Green onion, Shiso Herb, Okra, ginger and cucumber etc..

Put Herb and vegetables in miso soup. Cut fresh fish into small dice.

Put hot rice in bowl and Sashimi fish and ice cubes on rice. Pour miso soup over it.
