I love sweet things and baked treats, however, baking can be really intimidating! This is where galette comes in! Its like a super low-maintenance version of pie that doesn't require much effort at all. You won't need a pie dish or any super folding or crimping skills; just an oven, a tray and a few ingredients!

In a bowl, mash bananas before adding oat flour

Mix together to form a die

Once dough is formed, halve and roll into circles 6-8 cm circles (be careful to avoid cracking in the centre).

Fill each rolled out circle with jam, leaving a 2-3cm space around the perimeter.

Fold the edges of the dough toward the centre and slightly over the filling to create a crust.

Bake in pre-heated oven at 180°C for 18-20mins or until slightly golden on top.

Top with vegan cream cheese or ice cream and sprinkle with lemon zest before enjoying.
