In a pan add water and sugar and let it boil or cook until sugar is dissolved. Then add in lemon juice and saffron essence. Cook tilll syrup thickens.

In a bowl take the vermicelli and breat it with help of your hands. Then add butter and mix well.

Divide this into two portions. Reserve half for later use.

Then add yellow food colour and mix well.

Then in a separate 8 inch round baking pan, add the yellow food coloured vermicelli and spread it evenly in the bowl. Then add ricotta cheese and spread it evenly.

Then add mozarella cheese and spread it. add the reserved vermicelli and spread it so that smooth texture appears on top of the pan.

Then take a pan with lid and heat it. Then place the mould into the pan and close the lid.

Cook the kunafa in medium low heat for 20-25 minutes. after 25 minutes your kuafa is ready.

Then to remove it fron the mould/pan, clear its edges and flip the pan in a large plate.

Then add the sugar syrup over it.
Garnish it with some chopped pistachios on top!
