Parathas are popular breakfast recipes in Punjab, like aloo paratha or paneer paratha. Paneer paratha is a popular North Indian flatbread made with whole wheat flour dough and stuffed with grated paneer, herbs and spices.
Today I have made this recipe with some changes and turned stuffed paneer paratha into paneer lachha paratha.

Today I have made this recipe with some changes and turned stuffed paneer paratha into paneer lachha paratha.

In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, all-purpose flour, oil, salt, water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.

In another mixing bowl, add crumbled paneer, chopped onions, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala powder, kasuri methi and mix it well.

Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.

Brush ghee on it and spread paneer stuffing on it.

Then, start folding it like envelope and roll back it into cylindrical shape.

Cut this cylindrical shape dough into 3 equal parts.

Place the 1 part onto the 2nd part and then place the 3rd part, flatten with your hand.

Dust with flour and flatten it again with the help of a rolling pin.

Now, place it on a hot tawa and cook on medium heat for 2 minutes, then brush ghee.

Flip it gently, spread some ghee over and cook till it turns brown from both side.

Serve hot paneer lachha paratha with dollop of butter and paneer gravy.
