This is a recipe that was passed to me by my grandmother (Jaja)
Steps

Presoak the mushrooms for 10 minutes to remove any soil.
Wash and cut them into desired sizes and set aside
Dice the onions, in a saucepan, put the oil and fry the onions until golden brown then set them aside.
In a separate saucepan, simmer the mushrooms under low heat for about 5minutes until all the water dries, add the butter and the the teaspoon of wheat flour and stir fry the mushrooms
Add half the already fried onions, then add the milk and simmer for 3minutes under low heat.
Serve - 2
Wash and boil the sweet potatoes until soft.
Peel and set then aside in readiness for mashing. - 3
Together withhalf of the remaining fried onions, mash the sweet potatoes.
Serve. - 4
This meal was served with sautéed spinach
