Steps

Wash and pressure cook mix dal.

Heat ghee/oil add cumin seeds,soaked methi, green chilli, half of garlic,chopped onion saute for a while add turmeric powder, chilli powder,garam masala mix and fry for some time then add chopped tomatoes cook till mushy.

Add cooked mix dal mix it well,add salt, jagarry boil for few minutes turn off flame.

In tadka pan add ghee add half of chopped garlic let if slightly brown add chilli powder,add this tadka to dal and it's ready to serve with rice and paratha.
