Ingredients

  1. 500 gmscarrot
  2. 3 tbspghee
  3. 2 cupmilk
  4. 1/4 cup sugar
  5. 1/4 cup khoya
  6. 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  7. as required Chopped nuts (cashews & raisins)

    Wash the carrots, peel it and grate it finely.

    In a kadhai add ghee, fried the nuts and keep aside, then in the same ghee add carrots and saute.

    Now add milk, keep stirring, continue to boil until carrots are cooked properly and milk starts reducing, then add sugar, cook till the halwa gets thickened and ghee releases from sides.

    Then add khoya, cardamom powder and nuts. Mix all properly and then enjoy.
