Cooking Instructions

Zest an orange in a bowl to catch citrus oil. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix.

Transfer to a food processor with butter and mix.

In a small bowl beat egg, vanilla, and vodka.

Add to food processor and mix until incorporated.

Transfer to a flat surface over plastic wrap. Mold into a flat rectangle, wrap, and refrigerate for an hour.

Preheat oven to 350F.

Take out doug and let it rest for 15 minutes. Roll to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut shapes and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.

Place 2 ounces chocolate on top of a double boiler (top bowl must not touch simmering water). When melted, remove from heat, mix in rest of chocolate, mixing until all has melted.

Dip or cover cookies in/with chocolate. Let chocolate harden completely.
