This famous maize flour bread gets its name from the Punjabi term for maize flour: makki ka atta. It is often served with sarson ka saag.This winter special combination of meal makes everyone drool in winters

Take makki flour add salt,carom seeds and chopped coriander leaves.mix well.gradually add water combined with fingers and make a semi soft dough just like paratha.

Divide the dough into equal part and make balls.take one ball press with fingers,dust some flour on rolling board and roll the roti gently. I cut the rolled roti with a bowl to give it a perfect round shape.

Heat the tawa place the roti on tawa cook for a minute when it cook from one side flip it and press with spatula and cooked well from both side.

Prepare all roti.apply butter or Desi ghee on each roti and serve hot with sarson saag.
