Ingredients

4-5 servings
  • 3 cupsWhole wheat flour (chakkinka aata)
  • 1-1/2 teaspoonYeast
  • 1-1/2 teaspoonBrown sugar
  • 1 teaspoonSalt
  • 1/4 teaspoonBread improver (optional)
  • 2 tablespoonOil
  • 1egg
  • 1/2 cupMilk lukewarm
  • 3/4 cupLukewarm water
  • 1/2 teaspoonFlaxseeds

Steps

  1. 1

    🌸 Mix all the ingredients to form a soft dough
    Knead it for a good 15 minutes. Or until it becomes smooth. Cover the dough and leave it for proofing for at least 45 minutes.

    🌸 Take our the dough on a clean surface and knead it for 2,3 minutes.

  3. 3

    🌸Roll the dough and put it in greased loaf tin.

  4. 4

    🌸 Cover the tin and leave it again for second proofing for at least 45 minutes.

  5. 5

    🌸 Brush it with milk and sprinkle some flax seeds on top

  6. 6

    🌸 Bake it on 180 degrees in a preheated oven for 30- 35 minutes.

  7. 7

    🌸Take it out and cover it with foil or plastic bag.
    Slice it when cools down.
