On 3rd birthday of cookpad I made something in orange with orange 🧡🍊 Better than store bought easy ice cream recipe with basic ingredients.

5 tbsporange juice (freshly squeezed)
1.5 tbspcorn starch
2 cupsmilk
1/2 cupsugar
1 cupcold whipping cream
1 tsporange essence
1 pinchorange food color

In a bowl add corn starch, milk and sugar whisk well. To avoid lumps whisk the mixture stirring vigorously. If there is any lumps, we will not get creamy texture.

Cook it on low to medium flame. During cooking whisk it continuously otherwise it will burn. Cook until get a bit thick consistency.

Turn the flame off. Let it cool completely. To make the mixture smooth stir it continuously during cooling.

When cool down add orange juice in this mixture. It is better to add juice in this mixture if we add juice directly to whipping cream we will get curdle texture.

On the other hand take whipping cream. Beat the cream until soft peak comes.

Add the juice and milk mixture in whipping cream. Along with add orange food color and orange essence. Beat again.

Use spatula for even mixing.

Pour it in air tight container to settle down, keep in freezer for approximately 6 hour or over night.
