Wash the beetroot thoroughly and boil it with half a cup of water. After 10 minutes, remove it to a plate and let it cool. Press it with your hands to mash or grate it.

Next, whisk the yogurt and mix in all the ingredients: roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder, black salt, and red chili powder.

Add the grated beetroot and mix everything together.

Sprinkle a little black pepper powder on top and serve.
