It's a one pot meal.
Steps

Wash, rinse, and soak rice for half an hour.

In a pan heat oil, add jeera, chili ginger, curry leaves, and hing, then add all the vegetables and spices.

Cook for a minute, then add in the soaked rice. Mix well and cook on flame till it starts boiling. Shift it in a cooker and cook till done.

Now it's ready to serve. You can serve it with tempered yogurt. (Vaghareli dahi)
