Benefits of Gajar Halwa

1) Carrots are loaded with vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K and fibre. The vitamin A in carrots helps to improve the vision, thus making it mandatory to finish the halwa in your bowl.

2) Adding milk to the halwa adds calcium and protein to the dish. The cashews and raisins add to the protein and antioxidants in the halwa.

3) The ghee in halwa carries good fats required by your body to reduce those aches and pains that come along with winter. Though ghee is very healthy but still if you prefer not to have loads of it, you can use 1 tablespoon of butter. Also, the upper chest infection rises in winter and the vitamin A present in carrots improves your immune system, thereby shielding you from infections.
