Sausages are a staple from Mid-Autumn BBQs and New Year gatherings to everyday meals. Simply remove the casing to transform them into ground meat for quick and easy cooking.

Boil a pot of water and cook the spaghetti. While waiting, prepare the other ingredients. Remove the casing from the garlic sausages to get the ground meat. Heat a pan with oil and cook the ground meat until it changes color. Note: Using garlic sausages saves the step of preparing aromatic spices.

Once the sausage is browned, add diced tomatoes and stir-fry. When the tomatoes release their juices, add black pepper, salt, and Italian seasoning, and mix well.

Add the cooked spaghetti and tomato paste, and stir everything together. Note: If the mixture seems too dry, add some pasta water to help the sauce adhere to the noodles.

Before serving, add shredded cucumber and stir-fry to enhance the texture.
