PreHeat oven to 350. Put in the skillet so you can pour the batter into a hot skillet.

While the skillet is heating- Whisk flour, white sugar, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder in a medium bowl.

In a separate bowl. Melt the butter, mix in the eggs and vanilla.

Stir in the chopped apples and nuts to the flour mixture, then stir in the egg mixture.

Put the 1 tablespoon of butter into the skillet to coat the bottom, and add the batter mixture to the hot skillet and bake 40 minutes, or until the fork comes out clean. Let sit 20 minutes and enjoy.
