Wash and soak beans for 4 to 6 hours. Now cook it in the pressure cooker along with some water until it is just soft but not overcooked.

Cut ash gourd into medium size pieces. Now take one cup of water in a pan and add ash gourd, chopped green chilies and curry leaves to it along with some salt. Cook it until it is just cooked but not overcooked. Only a little water should remain before proceeding to the next step.

Now add cooked beans, coconut milk, and a little salt. Cook it on medium heat until it is about to boil. Turn off the heat and add curry leaves along with some coconut oil on top. Cover and keep it for 10 minutes to infuse the flavours.

Serve it hot with steamed rice.
