To create your lollipops you will need to cut through the chicken flesh until you meet the bone just below the knuckle. You will now be able to push the meat up the bone to give it the lollipop shape.

Clean off any remaining flesh from the exposed bone.

Mix together all of the seasoning ingredients into a large bowl.

Add your chicken lollipops to the seasoning mix ensuring that all of the meat is coated.

Place the chicken lollipops into an air frier and cook for 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy on the outside and all the meat is cooked through. If you don’t have an air frier you can mimic this process in the oven at 180 for 25 minutes.
To double check that your chicken is cooked it should have an internal temp of 77degrees C (170 F).

Slice your onion, ginger and garlic and fry until the onions start to soften. Add the remaining sauce ingredients and allow to reduce.

Once reduced add your cooked chicken lollipops to the sauce ensuring that you coat all over. Garnish with sesame seeds.

For the green beans, coat them in the spices listed in the sides section before frying until cooked through.
