In bowl, add gramflour, carrom seeds, black peper corns coaresly grinded, turmeric powder, asafoetida, baking soda, salt. mix everything well and add 2 tablespoon oil.

Using water knead tight dough. add water in parts. 3/4 tablespoon water should be needed. cover dough and keep aside for 30min.

Make small balls from dough and cover with lid. place on greasing plate. On wooden board spread oil lightly with heels of your palm with light pressure. press and flatten dough.

For some time move palms forward. Gently pinch it out from board with knife, cut strips and remove. keep separate plate which is greased with oil. make all fafdas like this.

Heat up oil in pan, once heated drop fafda pieces gently. fry with slotted spoon. flip and fry till golden in colur and crispy.

Your tasty fafda ready to serve.
Serve with chutney.
