If you don't have fine powder of desiccated coconut, then grind the powder in the food processor or grinder to make fine.

Melt the ghee in a heavy bottomed pan. Turn gas to low flame. Now add desiccated coconut fine powder. Mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes, you will get a nice toasted aroma of coconut. Don't brown it.

Then add milkmaid, cardamom powder and mix this mixture well. Cook for 1 mins while stirring constantly. Next add raisins, chopped kaju & almonds, Milk masala powder and charoli. Mix well and cook until the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan. While cooking keep stirring nonstop. It takes 4-5 mins. Donot overcook.

Turn off the gas when the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan. Pour the coconut ladoo mixture into another bowl and Let this mixture become warm and cool to touch. Rub your palms with ghee. Take some portion of mixture in your hand and make round ball.

If the mixture is loose then put it back in the pan and cook on low flame for a few more minutes stirring constantly, otherwise you won't be able to make the laddoo.

Take 3-4 tablespoons of desiccated coconut powder in a plate and rollover the laddoo in it. Make all the laddoo in the same way.

Serve Coconut Laddoo as sweets. Store remaining laddoo in an airtight container in the fridge. Laddoo stay good for a week.
