2 ingredients simple yet filling recipe for your little one's. This one is sure to impress them and make them go for it on any day. The best part is that it can be stored in airtight containers and enjoyed as needed. I have used Kimia Dates for this. You can use any variety of them that are easily available to you.
This can be a great option for everyday Snacking. An afterschool quick munchie or a super delicious and a healthy Brunch on a weekend as well. The list is endless.
I usually pack these in their Lunchboxes too so that they can have them during the short break. And it's perfectly okay to eat these on a daily basis as the growing children needs lots of nutritional goodness in their diet. Almonds, Cashewnuts, Walnuts etc also make other lovely variations that one can try.

Sugar-Free Date Cookies Sugar-Free Date Cookies
I tried to imitate the delicious cookies I found in a famous bakery with naturally-leavened bread. They should taste quite similar. If you don't have any dates or cranberries, you can use raisins. The cookies in the photos are quite large, they should actually be a little thinner. If they're too fat they'll take longer to bake and become too big to call 'bite-sized'. You can eat these cookies for breakfast. They're most delicious when just baked or up to a day afterwards. Recipe by Kepa-ru cookpad.japan -

Eggs in a Basket Eggs in a Basket
This is a fun way to serve fried eggs and toast. Kids LOVE it, especially when you get creative and use cookie cutters with shapes. With Halloween right around the corner, I've made mine for sharing today using my bat and ghost cookie cutters. This is one of those recipes that I don't include any specific quantities for the ingredients. You'll want to make 1-2 baskets per person, and just need one egg for every one piece of bread and enough butter for coating your pan before adding each new bread slice. It's best to cook these one at a time unless you have a very wide skillet or griddle, which I do not. Lol.The only thing you always have to be sure of is that your crusts stay intact. As long as you stay in the crusts you can cut any shape you want into your bread. StephieCanCook -
Confit Orangette (made in a day) Confit Orangette (made in a day)
I heard that orangettes take a lot of time and effort to make. So, I tried making several batches at home one day!I had some failures, but I was able to put together a recipe that you can finish in a day!For Steps 7-11 when you're boiling down the orange slices, you can set a timer to keep track of the time so that you can relax. Boiling and cooling the slices will make them transparent. Be careful in Step 12, as boiling for too long will cause them to harden. For Steps 14 and 15, keep an eye on them and adjust as needed. I used a navel orange. Recipe by Hiromanma cookpad.japan -
Apple Pie Sticks Apple Pie Sticks
You can easily make this by just using regular puff pastry sheets, but modifying their shape makes them a lot easier to enjoy! I wanted to make something that was easy to eat and that children could hold in their hands without any hassle.Be careful not to overfill the dough with the filling (I accidentally did this -- lol) because this can make the folding / wrapping process a lot more difficult. As for when you're cutting the pastry sheets, make sure to cut them gently without touching them too much. They'll puff up more evenly that way. Remember that there is egg yolk coated on the inside, so you don't have to overdo it with the fork! Recipe by Toiroiro cookpad.japan
