An excellent thirst quencher and a lovely drink. It's a favourite of many Indians. Easily available throughout the Year, it's best enjoyed chilled. And what better way to enjoy it chilled than making a Panna Cotta out of it. Don't you all agree with me? My family enjoys it a lot and I make this very often for my kids. Sugar can be adjusted accordingly. I use it scarcely. So that's it. As simple as that. Saffron strands add a little bit of lovely hue to the Dessert. It's optional. You can skip it. This makes for a perfect aftermeal Dessert on any given day. Enjoy it chilled with your loved ones and friends.

Steps

10-12 minutes
  1. 1

First of all soak Agar-agar strands in a cup of water. Keep it aside for 30 minutes. Bring it to a rolling boil on a high heat at first. Then lower the heat and let it dissolve completely. It will take around 8-10 minutes.

  2. 2

Heat Coconut water and Sugar until just hot. Add this Agar-Agar mix to it. Strain it if desired. But it's not needed at all. You can add it directly. But take care that it should be dissolved completely as you can see in the picture. Also stir in the Saffron strands. Mix well and let it cool down before refrigerating it.

Cover it and refrigerate until set. Slice and enjoy with some dry Coconut chopped on top. Or as it is. It tastes so very awesome. Yum!

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
