Ingredients

  • 1 1/8 pounds (500 grams)green peas
  • 1 headcauliflower
  • 7 ounces (200 grams)potatoes
  • 1 tablespoonground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoonground red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoonturmeric
  • 2 tablespoonsginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cupmustard oil
  • 1/2 teaspoonfenugreek seeds, 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida

    First, peel the potatoes and shell the peas. Cut the cauliflower into florets. In a pressure cooker, heat the mustard oil.

    Add the fenugreek seeds and asafoetida. Then add the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, coriander, and chili powder. Sauté well, then add the chopped and washed vegetables.

    After 2 whistles, add chopped cilantro. Your Aloo Gobi Matar is ready to serve.
