Fried fish is best to enjoy on a cold day . It is even more amazing if done with simple ingredients. In this particular version of Tawa Fish, i have used Fenugreek Leaves or Methi Bhaji both in the marination as well as the frying part. The spices make it even more delicious and it is awesome with warm Rice and Daal . Try this and you will love it. It is best marinated overnight and even better if kept in a freezer. Whenever you need to fry it, just thaw it for an hour or two and then fry as needed.
This is the best way to store Fish. It is always better if marinated and then stored in airtight containers in the freezer.
And it is also handy on any day. Fresh Fish is always a great option but in these times of busy lives and short of time, marinated Fish kept in the freezer is a great option.
I always do that for my family. Easy and delicious fried Fish is a lovely option for the mealtimes. Be it Lunch or Dinner, it is absolutely an amazing idea. And perfectly suits this cold Weather too. A must have one in Winters. Enjoy!

Steps
- 1
Clean the Fish well and drain it thoroughly. Later marinate with all the masalas as mentioned and keep aside for an hour at the least. It will be better if it is marinated and kept refrigerated overnight. Add Fenugreek Leaves or Methi even in the marination if desired.
- 2
Heat a non stick tawa with Oil as required. Add Fenugreek Leaves and slit Green Chillies only if desired. And then place the pieces side by side arranging them as per the space. Do it in batches for an even frying. Green Chillies can be avoided if making for the kids.
- 3
Shallow fry few at a time on a low heat by turning and tossing so that it cooks evenly on both the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper. Serve hot alongside steamed Rice and Hyderabadi Khatti Daal. And also some chopped Spring Onions or Red Onions for a great meal. Yum!
