Ingredients

9-11 hours
  1. 1 (5 lbs)brisket
  2. 1 packetdry onion soup mix
  3. 2 teaspoonsgarlic powder
  4. 1 teaspoonchilli power
  5. 1 teaspooncumin
  6. 5 teaspoonshickory liquid smoke

Steps

9-11 hours
  1. 1

    Massage all ingredients into brisket

  2. 2

    Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  3. 3

    Unwrap brisket and place in crackpot fat side up

  4. 4

    Cook on low for 8-10 hours

  5. 5

    Remove from crackpot and let rest for 10 minutes

  6. 6

    Slice against the grain and serve with favorite sauce
