Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsboiled basmati rice
  2. 1/2 cupboiled fresh green peas
  3. 1/2 cupfinely chopped fenugreek leaves
  4. 1medium size tomato chopped
  5. 1medium size onion chopped
  6. 2 tbspghee
  7. 1 tbspcumin seeds
  8. 1 tbspspicy green chilli ginger paste
  9. Salt to taste as required
  10. Few roasted cashewnuts halves to garnish
  11. Fresh curd or Gujarati kadhi to serve with pulao

Steps

  1. 1

    In cooking pan add heat ghee. Do tempering of cumin seeds, spicy green chillies ginger paste. Add chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes.

    Add chopped tomato and fenugreek leaves, boiled green peas, little salt. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

    Add boiled basmati rice and mix well. Cook for few minutes.

    Transfer it in serving plate. Garnish with roasted cashewnuts halves.

    Relish/ Serve Delicious Hot Methi Matar Pulao with fresh curd or Gujarati kadhi.
