Masala Corn Fries
Steps
- 1
Measure and cut the corn in 1 cm less than the toothpick length. Cut into two halves. Insert the toothpick stick into corn kernels. Now apply pressure sideways to remove the corn kernels.
- 2
Now add the kernels into boiling water & boil them for 2-3 minutes. Strain and cool down the corns.
- 3
Now take a mixing bowl, add the kernels, corn flour, rice flour, salt & pepper powder. Now mix & coat them well. Add 1 tsp of water so that the corn coats well. Deep freeze it for about 15 mins.
- 4
Now heat sufficient oil in a pan to fry the corns. Add in small batches carefully and fry on high heat.
- 5
Then remove the fried corn on a tissue paper, squeeze some lemon juice and sprinkle over the spice mixure, (mentioned above in the ingredients section) to coat well. Toss it well.
- 6
Enjoy this appetizer with either tomato ketchup or any dip of your choice.
