Travel to Germany with this thick apple crêpe. This recipe makes one large crêpe to cut into 4 pieces when serving.

Cut the apple into quarters and remove the core. Slice thinly using a mandoline or a knife.

Mix all the crêpe batter ingredients together. Stir until you have a smooth, slightly thick batter.

Melt a small amount of butter with a little sugar in a skillet, then cook the apple slices briefly. Remove them from the pan.

In the same skillet, pour in half of the batter. Add the apples, then pour the rest of the batter on top.

Cook over low heat with a lid on. When the top is almost set, flip the crêpe to cook the other side.

Serve warm with a little sugar sprinkled on top.
