I was going by roadside along katsina road and I met a woman frying wainar shinkafa which caught my eyes I decide to make this at home......

Remove dirt from white rice, wash and soak for 4hours or more.

Wash soak rice and blend to a smooth consistency.

Add yeast and cover it, keep in warm place to rise for an hour or more.

After it rise, add baking powder, sugar and salt. Add finely chop onions.

Mix very well. Put masa pan on low flame or coal, add oil to each portion of the pan.

Allow oil to heat for a minute add paste, fry and flip on the other side. Allow to fry on both sides.

Set aside and repeat the process till you exhaust the paste.

Serve with soup of your choice, preferably miyan taushe, egusi soup or groundnut soup.
