Palak Paneer is one of my favorite recipes. It's not only healthy, but the combination of spinach and paneer is delicious. Plus, you get to use a lot of vegetables like onion, garlic, ginger, tomato, and green chili. It's easy to make and tastes amazing. Besides cooking, I also enjoy dance, art and craft, drawing, painting, mehndi, and most of all, making friends. I also love reading stories.

  11. 1/4 cupheavy cream (about 60 ml)
  12. 2 tablespoonsoil and ghee (clarified butter)
  13. 1/2 teaspooncumin seeds

Cooking Instructions

30-40 minutes
  1. 1

First, wash the spinach thoroughly and chop it. Heat water in a pot and blanch the spinach. Once done, cool it and blend into a puree. Set aside.

  2. 2

Heat oil and ghee in a large skillet. Add cumin seeds, then add the finely chopped onion and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

  3. 3

While the onion is cooking, blend the garlic, ginger, tomatoes, and green chilies into a paste. Add this paste to the onions and sauté.

  4. 4

Once the mixture is cooked, add all the dry spices and sauté well.

  5. 5

When the masala is ready, add the spinach puree and cook thoroughly.

  6. 6

Once the spinach puree is cooked, mix in the heavy cream and add the paneer cubes (washed). Cook for 1-2 minutes. Note: You can fry the paneer before adding if you prefer, but I like it raw in palak paneer.

  7. 7

Your palak paneer is ready! When serving, grate a little paneer on top for garnish. Enjoy your delicious malai palak paneer.

  8. 8

Serve with roti, naan, or paratha. It tastes great with any of them.
