Pan-Fried Instant Ramen

My daughter can't eat steaming hot food, so I thought this would be OK for her.
I plan to try it out with different kinds of ramen.

If you add the whole soup packet, it will be too salty. I used shio (salt-flavored) ramen. If you use 200 ml of water, the noodles will be very plump, and if you use 250 ml the finished dish will be soupy. Please adjust the amount of water to your liking. For 1 serving. Recipe by Supikaka

Steps

  1. 1

Put 200 to 250 ml of water and the instant ramen noodles in a frying pan or saucepan, and turn on the heat. If you add 250 ml of water, it will be very soupy. (See photo.)

  2. 2

Stir-fry the ramen as you untangle the strands.

  3. 3

After the water comes to a boil, the noodles will absorb the moisture and become soft in about 2 minutes. After that, add just half of the contents of the soup packet.

  4. 4

If the ramen came with seasoning oil, add that too, and mix in.

  5. 5

If your ramen didn't come with an oil packet, add a few drops of sesame oil to taste. Add green onion, nori seaweed, or shichimi spice and so on to taste, and serve.
