White chocolate covered almond stuffed dates are just the alternate to the regular dates served for iftar.

Dates are a must for Ramadan. Imagine a Thanksgiving without turkey. Ramadan without dates is exactly that for majority of Muslims despite their diverse background. It is the fruit that unites the Muslim community from all over the world.

Date is a slower digesting food and an excellent source of fiber, sugar, magnesium, potassium with many health benefits. Dates provide a quick boost of energy after a long day of fasting.

We break our fast with a date or three; dates are usually eaten in odd number. Dates are a staple in any Muslim household, a symbol of abundance, and a rich fibre, potassium, and calcium source.

There are many different varieties of dates and all of them will work well in this recipe. I have used Medjool dates, which are big and sweet with a delicious caramel-like flavour.

This luxurious white chocolate covered dates were an instant hit, no questions asked. Best part, they are very quick and easy to make. The combination of crunchy, soft, chocolaty and the sweetness of the date is divine.

High quality dates stuffed with almonds that are covered in rich white chocolate, giving an incredible taste of the suave and subtle chocolate. A great and delicate treat that can be shared with loved ones. Easy to make without turning on the oven, and comes together with less than 20 minutes of prep time.
