Homemade Paneer
Steps
- 1
Heat the milk in a pan. Now add vinegar little by little to the boiling milk and keep stirring the milk continuously. Once the milk curdles, switch off the gas flame and add ice cubes to it. This helps the paneer to become soft.
- 2
Now, keep a cotton cloth on a sieved vessel and filter the pulp. Pour cold water over it and wash it 2-3 times. Then tie a knot in the clothes and hang it for 2 hours. So that the excess water in it gets out.
- 3
Shape it in a Squre. Press it with inverted rolling board(chakla) and keep it for 15 minutes. Post that keep it in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes.
- 4
Then cut it in desired shape. So, Homemade fresh Paneer is ready. You can use this for making variety of paneer dishes.
