Ingredients

  1. 2 (17.5 oz)bags potato gnocci
  2. 1 lbground beef
  3. 8 ozsliced mushrooms
  4. 1 cupheavy whipping cream
  5. 6 clovesminced garlic
  6. 1 (15 oz)can cream of mushroom soup
  7. 1 tspitalian seasoning
  8. Salt & pepper to taste
  9. 1/4 cupWorcestershire sauce
  10. 1small yellow onion (diced)
  11. 2 cupsshredded swiss cheese
  12. 2 tbspbutter

    Start by preheating your oven to 350

    In a skillet add add butter, diced onion, sliced mushrooms & garlic. Cook til garlic is fragrant.

    Add ground beef & cook til browned then drain the grease.

    While ground beef is cooking boil pot of water with salt for the gnocchi. Boil gnocchi til they rise to the top, drain & set aside.

    Going back to the cooked ground beef add cream of mushroom soup, heavy whipping cream & Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Simmer for a few minutes & then add cooked gnocchi to the ground beef mixture. Mixing so to coat all the gnocchi.

    Put mixture in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with swiss cheese & cover with tin foil. Put in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

    Remove tin foil & put oven on broil. Let it broil for 5 minutes until the cassarole is browned. Remove from oven & serve with a vegetable or garlic bread.
