Banana Steamed Buns for Babies

My child has just finished baby food, so I used pancake mix and milk to try making this sweet treat!

Depending on the size of your baking cups, you will have to adjust the amount that you pour. Also for the baking time, bake for 10 minutes and then keep an eye on them and adjust the time as necessary.
1 (200g) bag of pancake mix makes about 8 rolls. Whatever you don't eat, you can store in the fridge and eat for breakfast or as a snack. For 1 bag worth of pancake mix. Recipe by Banyangarden

Steps

  1. 1

Start to heat the steamer to prepare. Mash the banana with a fork.

  2. 2

Beat the egg in a bowl and then mix in the milk.

  3. 3

Add the pancake mix and combine. Finally, add the mashed banana and mix well.

  4. 4

Pour the batter into 6 - 7 baking cups.

  5. 5

In the preheated steamer: steam for 10-15 minutes. If a bamboo skewer comes out clean after poking into them, they're done.

  6. 6

If you have a child that cannot drink milk yet, then please use formula.

  7. 7

For best results: divide the dough into however many pieces you want and then add the banana to each of them. This is how I like to do it for variety.
