This aloo katli recipe is made with slices of potatoes marinated and fried until golden brown then sauteed along with some whole spices, powdered spices, and coriander leaves dip.

This aloo katli recipe is made with slices of potatoes marinated and fried until golden brown then sauteed along with some whole spices, powdered spices, and coriander leaves dip.
Steps

Grind chopped coriander leaves, 1/2 onion, garlic and green chilli to a smooth paste and transfer it in a bowl.

Peel, wash and chop potatoes in round katlis. Wash katlis in running water 2-3 times to remove it's starch. Now marinate it with ingredients mentioned in marinate section. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Wash and chop onion and capsicum in square pieces. Heat cooking oil in a wok and fry for 2 minutes. Remove it in a plate

Now add aloo Katli in remaining cooking oil and fry till golden brown. Remove it in plate.

Now in the same wok, in left over cooking oil add cumin seeds and fennel seeds and when they splutter add coriander leaves dip in it and cook on low flame till oil leaves. Mix all masala ingredients in it.

Add curd and cook till curd mixes well. Add water fir curry and let it boil for 3 minutes.

Now add marinated and fried potato katlis and mix. Mix and add water. Cook till potatoes are cooked.

Now add fried onion and capsicum, green chilli and cook for 2 minutes.

Add chopped coriander leaves and garam masala and mix.

Serve hit with chapati, paratha Or poori.
