Only Two Ingredients. Mama's Chocolate Mousse

This is a standard after meal dessert for a French family.
Don't bother with the details too much because this sweet is served at home.
If you don't want to make it too rich, use one chocolate bar and two eggs (size M). The mousse will be a bit runny.
You will not mess up if you as long as you make a nice stiff meringue. For 3 - 4 servings. Recipe by pogue

Cooking Instructions
- 1
No cake flour, milk or oil in this mousse, so you can digest easily even after the main meal. Use eggs that are fresh as possible if you can.
- 2
Separate egg yolk and white. Bring the egg yolks to room temperature. Melt chocolate over a bain-marie or in the microwave. Add egg yolks and mix well.
- 3
Add a pinch of salt into the egg white, and whip until stiff peaks form. Make a meringue that will not drop even if you turn the bowl upside-down.
- 4
Use a whisk and add 1/3 of the meringue into the melted chocolate and mix well. Use a rubber spatula and add the rest of the meringue and fold it in.
- 5
Chill down for a half day to harden. Scoop with a spoon and serve. Enjoy variations such as sprinkling nuts on top or pouring into a tart crust if you like.

I made this for my daughter who loves chocolate. We had some chocolate pens in our house, so I came up with some designs with them. Please adjust the amount of sugar according to the sweetness of your bar chocolate. Please don't use milk chocolate. In Step 2, it's best to melt the chocolate using a double boiler. You can also melt it in a microwave. In this case, keep an eye on it while microwaving. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

Chocolate Mousse Chocolate Mousse
I made this because I didn't have any chocolate mousse!!If possible, let it chill in the fridge for a firmer and more delicious finish.Let the chocolate cool down after microwaving it in step 1. (Hint: When you mix the chocolate it should leave traces behind.)If you whip the heavy cream while the bowl is still submerged in ice water, the process goes a lot faster!! Both the white chocolate mousse and the chocolate mousse recipes are delicious. So if the two are extravagantly put together, they must become even more delicious...and it was so, so, so good.If you don't line the mold with parchment paper, it maybe comes out prettier? Adding a good amount of gelatin to the white chocolate mousse and chocolate mousse makes it properly firm.If you don't add the white chocolate to the white chocolate mousse mixture, it will just be a bavarois, which is also very tasty. For 18 cm [7.1 in] round cake mold/inside diameter: 16.6 cm. Recipe by ko-ko cookpad.japan -

Soft and Simple Chocolate Mousse Soft and Simple Chocolate Mousse
I thought that since chocolate hardens when you cool it, I could use that property to make a mousse. So I thought up this easy recipe using a chocolate bar and fresh cream.-After the chocolate is melted, quickly add it to the cream before it begins to harden.-Adding rum or cointreau gives it a more grown-up taste.-You can use any chocolate you want: milk, bitter, etc. Recipe by Mirusuke cookpad.japan -
