First wash the mango and cut it into small pieces. Then boil it in a kadai. After it is cooked drain it in a sieve.

Take sugar in a pan and add enough water to cover it and let it boil. Then add mango slices and keep steering. Add a Pinch of saffron along with it so that the colour is very nice.

Make a simple sugar syrup it's colour will change and thicken. Then let it cool.

When it cool down, put a piece of cinnamon in it with cardamom powder and fill it in a jar.
