This delicious upside-down pear cake is perfect for special occasions or your sweet craving. With caramelized layer and freshly sliced Indian pears, it is delicious and looks lovely.
Steps

For Caramelized layer, firstly peel and cut pear in thin slices.

Heat butter in a pan and put sugar in it.
- 3
Stir and cook on medium heat till sugar caramelized.

Transfer half of the Caramelized syrup in a greased baking pan and arrange pear slices circularly.

Pour the remaining caramelized syrup over the pear slices and keep it aside for 5 minutes.

For cake, take flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl.

Mix all well with spoon.

Take sugar in a bowl and add melted butter, vanilla extract and half of the warm milk in it.

Whisk well till it frothy and add remaining milk.

Add this mixture into flour and make a lump free smooth batter.

Pour the batter carefully on Caramelized pear slices and bake on 200°C for 30 minutes.

After cooling, flip the cake gently in serving dish and enjoy.
