Quick and easy French Beans Stir Fry Recipe made using coconut oil, onions, garlic, spices and seasonings. A delicious and flavorful vegetarian side dish which pairs well with roti or hot steamed rice and dal.

Firstly, clean the french beans by discarding the unwanted parts. Wash it well. Cut it into diagonal strips. Transfer it into a mixing bowl. Add little salt and mix it well. Set it aside.

Heat coconut oil in a pan/kadai. Add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add whole black peppercorns and asafoetida. Add the crushed garlic, slited green chillies and curry leaves and saute for a minute or two.

Add the chopped french beans and saute it for a minute. Cover and cook till tender ie. About 8-10 minutes on low-medium flame.

When the french beans are cooked well, add the sliced onions, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and salt. Mix it well and saute on medium flame until the onions turn golden brown in color. Switch off the flame.

Delicious and Flavorful French Beans Stir Fry is ready to serve. Enjoy it as a side dish with roti or hot steamed rice and dal.
