Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 CupAlmond Flour
  2. 1 tspbaking powder
  3. 1/4 tspsalt
  4. 1 1/2 tspcrushed anise seed
  5. Zest of an orange
  6. 2 Tsugar substitute (stevia) or honey
  7. 1/2 tspground cinnamon
  8. 4 tablespoonsbutter
  9. 1egg
  10. 1 teaspoonvanilla

Steps

  1. 1

    Sift flour, Baking powder, salt, anise seed, and cinnamon together, set aside

  2. 2

    In a separate bowl combine sugar or honey and butter mix tell light and fluffy takes about three minutes add egg and vanilla and beat to combine

  3. 3

    Gradually add flour mixture and stop as soon as combined

  4. 4

    Refrigerate dough for at least 30 minutes or overnight

  5. 5

    Lined baking sheet with parchment paper roll dough to scant teaspoon size balls and place on paper place another sheet of parchment paper over top and flatten the balls very thin 1/8 inch with the bottom of a glass or rolling pin remove layers of parchment and bake at 325 for 15 to 20 minutes tell lightly brown
